BattleGR Tactical Games Celebrates 2nd Birthday in Grand Rapids, Michigan

Grand Rapids, MI: BattleGR Tactical Games is a young local business that has served Grand Rapids and surrounding area families for 2 years on October 27th, 2019. Over these years, BattleGR has introduced West Michigan to a unique style of laser tag and Archery Tag®. Through multiple team-based games, they utilize and incorporate skills like teamwork, communication, strategy, and leadership.

Jenny and Joe Lashuay started their small business endeavor in Nashville, Tennessee, formerly known as BattleNash, They started with mobile laser tag by setting up laser tag arena in the customers’ backyards and community area. Apart from mobile laser tag, BattleGR’s tactical laser tag is not like the stereotypical laser tag with black lights and vests with sci-fi taggers Michigan has known for years. With advanced equipment, they design different strategic games that incorporate teamwork, communication, and leaderships. Currently, BattleGR has nearly 20 different game modes and their creative employees are always designing new games for both laser tag and Archery Tag®.

Today, BattleGR Tactical Games celebrates its second birthday in Grand Rapids. Between 2017 and 2019, BattleGR has grown over 270% and is continuing to grow. The young business has outgrown its indoor arena currently located in Walker, on Lake Michigan Drive and in the summer of 2020 will move into a new location in Plainfield Township. In the summer of 2019, BattleGR was voted one of the top 10 best birthday party venues in the Grand Rapids by GRKids Grandtastic Awards.

BattleGR Tactical Games mission is to provide the Grand Rapids area with unique and personal experiences. They pride themselves in offering effortless birthday party packages as well as indoor and mobile laser tag and Archery Tag®. BattleGR is actively apart of the community by offering Summer Programs and educational After School Programs for children who are not interested in other sports. In the future, they plan to take tactical laser tag a step further by creating competitive tactical laser tag leagues for children and adults.
